Question by : How can I download YouTube videos so I can put them in a Windows Movie Maker project?
Ive tried an online downloader, its mediaconverter.org, and i download them in .wmv format, but when I import that downloaded .wmv media to movie maker, it doesn’t wanna play or work.

Should I be doing something different? My main goal here is to put a youtube video in my movie. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

On youtube above the video is a download button for my realplayer. I want to know if its possible to download the video and somehow get just the music and put it on a CD. this will help you…Use ‘zillatube’. it will help you to easily transfer youtube video onto a cd/dvd (in mpg or mp3 formats).

This is the fastest way.

Just use it to download and convert to mpg format. Ensure you use dvd conversion setting to convert to better quality mpg video format.

Then put those videos onto a dvd with your burning suite. Usually my friends use nero though.

I really would like to get some videos onto iTunes from Youtube but I don’t trust some of the programs and software that I can download for free on the Internet. Is there anyway I can drag the videos onto the iTunes program and then sync them to my iPod?

I have a Windows Vista, and I love making voice overs! Buuuut, my computer crashed and I lost the programs I had to download youtube videos to make voice overs with. I always add the voice over to it on Windows Movie Maker. Whats the best program to download youtube videos to edit them on Windows Movie Maker? And it has to be free and will give me NO virus’s…

I would recommend using saveyoutube.com also known as kissyoutube.com.
This isn’t a program but it’s a website all you have to do is go on the youtube video you want then on the link of the video add the word “save” or “kiss” in between “www.” & “youtube” for example.
To download Nyan Cat it would be like this.

by watching them you downloading them. yes they are in flv in your Temporary Internet Files just copy it out of there. the use veoh tv to watch them when ever you want or use an free converter like Dr. DivX to changt the fromat and make it look better.
