So after a week i can’t get any video on my yellow 4th gen ipod. I converted countless flv’s from youtube on zamzar to an MP4 and it still isn’t working HELP! I have even thrown my ipod and dented it help!

You are probably missing one thing – when you have the video imported into iTunes>click on the video and choose “convert selection for iPod/iPhone” then sync when done. If you don’t do that you won;t be watching any videos in any codec on your iPod

Took me a bit to work it out a few years ago but I knew others were doing it easily so I knew it must be posible and easy to do.

Look up benderconverter, it’s a website that will allow you to download youtube videos in like 10 different formats, at least a couple of which your phone should be able to read. The primary formats for phones are 3gp and mp4.

Youtube changed it’s layout, if you haven’t noticed. This led to a frenzy for downloading software to update their code to cope. Try getting Easy Youtube Downloader for Firefox, it’s better than RealPlayer.

There’s this movie on Youtube that I want to download for my nephews onto a blank CD only for them. How can I do it, if it’s possible.

Here a step by step guide. Hope this helps
1)Find the youtube video
2)Copy URL (the address on the top of the screen)
3)open new tab/new window and go to http://keepvid.com/
4)paste the Youtube URL (address) into the box on keepvid and hit “DOWNLOAD”
5)Input the Confirmation Code
6)Download the MP4 file

There you go, its the mp4/video file of the video.
And just burn it to a CD, unless you want to play it on a dvd player than burn with NERO (nero should burn .mp4 files, if not just google around a bit

This works for internet explorer and Mozilla
download IDM(internet download manager)free trial speeds the download when downloading with it
go to youtube
open any video
right click on any white space
click download flv content with IDM
and there u have it click start download and thats it,hope this helps

i know there are many flv and bittorrents downloading programs available for free in the net. but i’m looking for just 1 single program which allow me to grab for free (not those free trial type) both flv and also bittorrent video files and download them to my pc.

i have tried many like youtube grabber 3.1, bit torrent 5.0.8 and many others, but they only stick to one flv file or bit torrent file (not able to do both format). some are downloading the whole web page instead of the only video (wmv or flv) files which i wanted.

i have tried fidyo 2.0 and this program insisted me to download an internet download manager which is free only for a few days….as such, although the fidyo 2.0 allows me to grab both flv and bittorrent videos free, i’m still stuck once the internet download manager trial period expires. i tried to download other free internet download managers but they don’t work with fidyo 2.0.

pls advice me which single free program to use. thank you.

limewire is awsome it can now even download torrent files and extremely fast!!!

i reccomend downloading from isohunt.com using limewire
