Try VideoGet. It downloads from YouTube, GoogleVideo, MetaCafe, MySpace, Photobucket and other 700+ video websites.
VideoGet also providing you with ability to convert each video in most popular formats for more comfortable video playback. VideoGet supports AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, WMV, FLV, MP4, 3GP, MP3 file formats, so you will be able not only to view it, but also put it into your iPod, mobile phone or any other portable device. You can convert the video into a format acceptable on iPod by following the easy steps below:
Step 1:
Copy the URL of the video.
Step 2:
Go to VideoGet.
Step 3:
Paste the copied URL into the VideoGet list.
Step 4:
In the “Convert” menu, on “Output folder” choose the MP4 format.
Step 5:
After you’ve selected the conversion settings, just click the orange button that’s marked by a down arrow. This will start the download.
Download will take up to several minutes or faster, depending on your Internet speed and size of video.

I recommend Cucusoft YouTube Mate which helps you download, convert, play and manage your favorite YouTube videos.
With YouTube Mate you can also convert downloaded YouTube videos to a format compatible with your favorite portable device; including – iPod Video, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPhone, Zune, PSP, as well as video capable MP3 players, video capable mobile phones, and Pocket PC.
Tips: If you only download youtube without conversion, the software is free.
Hope it helps!

IPod nano now has a built-in video camera that lets you spontaneously shoot video wherever you are. iPod nano is making rock more glam with a polished anodized aluminum finish and a larger screen for your viewing pleasure. And making music mixes has never been easier.
Key Features Of Apple Ipod Nano:
Storage Capacity: 8 GB
Number of Songs: 2000
Main Storage Type: Built-in Memory
MP3 Player Features:
Built-In Video Camera, Voiceover Feature, Built-In Speakers, Built-In FM Tuner, Built-In Microphone, Pedometer, Up to 5 Hours Video Playback.
Audio Playback File Format:
WAV, MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), AAC, AIFF, Apple Lossless The features remain pretty much the same as the 4th generation Nano apart from the obvious addition of video recording. This can be accessed through the menu and footage can be recorded in landscape or portrait. Sound will be captured too through the built-in microphone and sound is played when you view your footage back.
]]>
There are also 15 video effects so you can create a personal touch to your footage such as X-Ray or Sepia for example. When you connect your Nano 5G to your PC or Mac your footage is automatically sync’d so it is uploaded and saved, from there it can be transferred to your favorite networking sites to share with family and friends.
The Genius feature is, well, Genius. It will create a play list of songs that go well together and save them to play later or play straight away. The FM Radio +Live Pause features is really cool too. You can pause Live Radio and catch up again when your ready and will even let you rewind up to 15 minutes so you don’t miss a thing.
Performance
Apple sets a high standard with the high quality of their products so naturally you expect great things. Unfortunately, with the new camcorder addition, its not all that great. We love the fact that its on an MP3 player and great for those youngsters who love to upload silly clips etc to YouTube but with the poor sound quality and washed out colours when filming outside it is not best to throw out your camcorders just yet! Video is recorded at 640×480 resolution at 2.5Mbps which is ok but this cannot be altered, there are no quality or settings adjustments.
No other MP3 player on the planet packs more features, from video to a pedometer, into a smaller package than the overachieving Apple iPod Nano.

A few nice youtube rip images I found:
Ipod “dock” from 50s radio

Interface!
It is said that god lives in the details. Well, then god ain’t been anywhere near this audio jack! I took it from an old dvd-rom I had laying around. For some reason I had problems desoldering it from the board, so I just cut the board with a pair of pliers, and ripped it out. I guess I could make this prettier some day when I have the parts.
Also note that I didn’t cut any new holes in the radio, I simply used the existing Ear-phone jack.

I came across a cool tutorial over at Instructables, for using an ald am/fm radio as an amplifier for your ipod or other portable audio device.
www.instructables.com/id/Old_R...
I didnt quite understand why this instructable actually added an amplifier to the radio, perhaps the original radio didn’t work at all, who knows.
Anyway, I have this old battery powerered radio, it looks like it is from the 50s, and thought I would give it a try.
I filmed this with my Nokia N95, so the quality is not that good, but at least you get an idea of what it looks and sounds like.
In the video I am using an old JVC portable cd player for testing (while my dusty 60gb ipod was charging). This cd-player is fantastic, it is my first one, over 20 years old, and it simply refuses to die! Maybe they knew how to make things more solid in the 80s?
When I finished building, I switched to the ipod, but was a little dissapointed because there was quite a drop in volume. A little fiddling with the EQ on the ipod improved the sound a little, but even when cranking the ipod up all the way I couldn’t quite get the same volume or depth of sound as I got from the JVC. I guess the JVC output signal is better amplified…
This is just a fast hack, it basically just connects the ipod directly to the speaker (but with a little extra juice from the radio circuit added). I really wanted to try to connect the ipod to a spot between the radios tuner and the radios amplifier. Right now the radios volum control has no effect on the radio.
The reason I didn’t do it properly? It was getting late (around 00:30), and I was afraid I would damage the ancient circuit board or the fragile string that was connected to the radios tuner dial. I had to basically take everything apart if I wanted access to the components on the other side, so I think I will put that off to a later time.
I took the radio to bed with me (after waking up the missus to get her admiration
and listened to the sweet tunes of Anthony and the Johnsons until I fell asleep.
When I woke up, the house was still here, not short cuts or fires
= Big success.

Interesting seating option from the Maldives

A screenshot from an Al Jazeera news report about Dhuvaafaru, one of five so-called "safer islands" in the Maldives archipelago set aside for communities displaced by the 2004 tsunami. The infrastructure on the formerly uninhabited island was built from scratch by the International Federation Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, even though Dhuvaafaru is one of the lowest-lying islands in the Maldives and highly vulnerable to climate change.
My interest in this particular image, however, is the metal-frame seating against the wall. I’m struck by the simplicity of the design, not to mention its suitability to a tropical climate. The netting that forms the seat and back is ripped in parts, but netting is a relatively inexpensive material that’s likely to be easily available (fishing is the Maldives second main industry, after tourism) and simple to replace. The seats look quite comfortable too.
