Youtube changed it’s layout, if you haven’t noticed. This led to a frenzy for downloading software to update their code to cope. Try getting Easy Youtube Downloader for Firefox, it’s better than RealPlayer.

Question by : how do i download youtube videos from the NEW youtube player?
As you know, there is a new youtube player on the site. how do i download videos off it? the old ways work only with the older players. Need help!!!

This works for internet explorer and Mozilla
download IDM(internet download manager)free trial speeds the download when downloading with it
go to youtube
open any video
right click on any white space
click download flv content with IDM
and there u have it click start download and thats it,hope this helps

Youtube videos can often be downloaded in the flv. format. To put it onto an mp4 player, you should use a converter and convert it.

If you download Realplayer SP, it allows you to download Youtube videos. I think it also has a video converter you can use.

ok, you do need a software but its kind of like a program. its called RealPlayer. its asks for credit card registration but if you keep looking there is a download without credit card necessary. oc=once you downloaded it you’ll be able to download any video from any site, when you watch a video and point a it a little tag at the top right will appear saying ((download to real player.) you click it and then it downloads. Now depending in what for mat do you want it you need to convert it. i need MP4 for my mp3 so i go to this site mediaconvert.com its really easy to use and a fast way to do it.with 5 steps
1-go to the website, there will be a box asking for the file (click browse and select it.)
2then it recognices the file by it self (it should be a FLASH VIDEO)
3then you click on the bottom the format you want it to be. do NOT choose a premade format like (i pod, I touch, cellphone format))they don’t work
3choose MP$ from the long list
4click agree to terms
5and click convert then you have to save it to desktop and pull it into your mp3s folder.
I KNOW THIS WAS LONG BUT I KNOW IT WORKS
