I really would like to get some videos onto iTunes from Youtube but I don’t trust some of the programs and software that I can download for free on the Internet. Is there anyway I can drag the videos onto the iTunes program and then sync them to my iPod?

I would recommend using saveyoutube.com also known as kissyoutube.com.
This isn’t a program but it’s a website all you have to do is go on the youtube video you want then on the link of the video add the word “save” or “kiss” in between “www.” & “youtube” for example.
To download Nyan Cat it would be like this.

I wanted a certain song i couldn’t find any apart from youtube so my friend had this program and he got the song off youtube for my (the song has got to be playing for you to get it) cause it kinda records it then puts it into a file for you

i know there are many flv and bittorrents downloading programs available for free in the net. but i’m looking for just 1 single program which allow me to grab for free (not those free trial type) both flv and also bittorrent video files and download them to my pc.

i have tried many like youtube grabber 3.1, bit torrent 5.0.8 and many others, but they only stick to one flv file or bit torrent file (not able to do both format). some are downloading the whole web page instead of the only video (wmv or flv) files which i wanted.

i have tried fidyo 2.0 and this program insisted me to download an internet download manager which is free only for a few days….as such, although the fidyo 2.0 allows me to grab both flv and bittorrent videos free, i’m still stuck once the internet download manager trial period expires. i tried to download other free internet download managers but they don’t work with fidyo 2.0.

pls advice me which single free program to use. thank you.

limewire is awsome it can now even download torrent files and extremely fast!!!

i reccomend downloading from isohunt.com using limewire

i know savevid.com is a site to convert youtube links into mp4 files but sometimes it doesn’t work so i need a SITE that does the converting instead of downloading a program on to my computer!

try zamzar.com you copy the address of the youtube video you want and then go to the website click the download video tab past your address next choose what file you want it to switch to in your case mp4 and then enter your email after a couple of minutes zamzar will send you an email to a site where you can download your video

Sounds like the software is converting the file also which in that case you are missing a codec. Try downloading Nimo Codec Pack. That should solve all your codec problems and you will not have to worry about that for a while.
