i know savevid.com is a site to convert youtube links into mp4 files but sometimes it doesn’t work so i need a SITE that does the converting instead of downloading a program on to my computer!

try zamzar.com you copy the address of the youtube video you want and then go to the website click the download video tab past your address next choose what file you want it to switch to in your case mp4 and then enter your email after a couple of minutes zamzar will send you an email to a site where you can download your video

I want to download some of my favorite YouTube videos directly onto my IPod touch so that I can watch them at any time. But jailbreaking sounds like a bad idea and I don’t really want to do it. Is there anyway I can download them onto my IPod without jailbreaking?

It seems as if there’s really no way to download any Youtube video legally unless it is original and doesn’t belong to a company.. I’d check the terms and conditions rules on downloading, although I can’t really seem to find anything on them..

Google ” SocuSoft Web Video Player Download ” and download that, When you get on it, Click convert and then click the Youtube icon and put the link in.

That’s easy. www.zamzar.com lets you save youtube vids as any file type, even mp3, although I think mp3 vids are actually called mp4s, but I’m not sure lol. Have fun

I suggest you convert it online

I like to make videos for youtube and it’s all good quality before I upload them. But as soon as I do they quality goes down big time and it’s all blurry. It doesn’t give me any high quality buttons either.
I use Windows Movie maker to make them, and the video’s range from 3-9 minutes.
